Kona Brewing to distribute Liquid Aloha in Alabama

DBR Staff Writer Published 09 March 2012

Hawaii-based Kona Brewing is all set to make its Longboard Island Lager and rest of the portfolio available throughout the Alabama from 2 April 2012.

Alabama will join 30 other states where Kona Brewing brews will be sold. The beers will be shelved in bars, restaurants, specialty beer shops, liquor stores and regional grocery store chains throughout Alabama in cities like Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile, Huntsville and other cities, reported Brewbound.

Longboard Island Lager will be available in bottles, 12oz cans and on draught. Kona's other throughout the year offerings like Fire Rock Pale Ale and seasonal beers like Aloha Series and spring seasonal series like Koko Brown will also be made available.

Kona Brewing president Mattson Davis said Liquid Aloha has officially spread from the Big Island to the Heart of Dixie! Handcrafted brews like theirs are a natural fit as Alabama's appetite for craft beer grows.
